connect with plants in community

At these monthly salons we’ll have the chance to connect with one herb at a time in an immersive container while also raising funds for collective care. At each salon we’ll engage our senses, our intuition and our curiosity to build new relationships with plants and each other. Each salon will be in a different East Bay location to highlight the specific plant of the day and at each salon you can expect to:

• Spend time with the plant of the day

• Participate in a guided plant meditation with the plant of the day

• Taste teas and/or foods made with the plant of the day

• Collectively make a remedy or potion with the plant of the day

• Go home with an essence or tincture made from the plant of the day

• Learn from direct experience and in community

Participation in each salon will be capped at 10 people so that there is enough space and time to learn and share together. Cost is $25 which will include an essence or tincture and all proceeds after material costs will be donated to a different mutual aid organization.

The next Plant Salon features PASSIONFLOWER and will be held in the backyard of a home near Lake Merritt in Oakland on July 20th from 3-5 and will benefit G.L.I.T.S.

This location is outside and there are 4 steps to reach the garden and one flight of stairs to reach the bathroom. Participants will be asked to come as scent free as possible. For more accessibility questions feel free to email me! Address will be provided a few days before the salon.
